ABOUT AHMED
Ahmed Kamel is a chef and Registered Dietitian of Egyptian and Mexican descent with a Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Nutrition from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI and a Master’s Degree in Nutrition from St Elizabeth University in Morristown, NJ.
During his studies at Johnson & Wales, he gained valuable experience training at renowned establishments such as Boulud Sud in New York City, Walt Disney World Resorts in Orlando, and with the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team.
After graduating, Ahmed went to on to work as a private chef for a small NYC based catering company where he would cook for high end clients in NYC, the Hamptons, and Greenwich Connecticut.
Inspired by his personal experience with the transformative power of whole, nutrient-dense foods as a chef, Ahmed pursued a career aligned with his passion for health and wellness. In 2018, he completed his dietetic internship and earned a Master’s Degree in Nutrition from St. Elizabeth University in Morristown, NJ, becoming a Registered Dietitian.
Ahmed now serves as the lead Clinical Dietitian at an acute care hospital in New York, where he provides Medical Nutrition Therapy to patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
In 2024, he launched Ahmed Kamel Nutrition, dedicated to preventing chronic diseases by promoting optimal nutrition and healthy lifestyle habits.
